- Request replacement credit cards to be sent to a new address.
- Perform a "SIM swap" to hijack the victim's phone number, allowing them to intercept two-factor authentication (2FA) codes.
3. Government & Tax Fraud
Fullz packets are incredibly popular for exploiting government systems. Scammers use them to:- File fraudulent tax returns early in the year to steal the victim's tax refund.
- Apply for unemployment benefits or welfare programs under the victim's name, redirecting the government payouts to their own prepaid debit cards.
4. Targeted Medical Fraud
Using a victim's health insurance info (often included in medical data breaches), scammers can get medical treatments, surgeries, or expensive prescription drugs billed directly to the victim’s insurance provider.Why is "Fullz" so dangerous?
If a scammer just steals a credit card, the bank can cancel the card, refund the money, and the problem is mostly solved.But when a scammer has fullz, they own data that cannot be easily changed—like a Social Security Number, date of birth, and medical history. This allows fraud to continue across multiple industries over months or even years, making it incredibly difficult and stressful for the victim to clean up.
