Parts of users help the use of cascading methods through Russian servers, said the interlocutor of “Koda Durov”.
The problems affected not only MTProto-proxy. Hosting providers began to report the blocking of Chrome Fingerprints by the regulator, as well as the partial blocking of the TCP-RAW protocol. Such measures, according to sources, negatively affected the operation of VPN services that use these mechanisms.
A similar wave of outages of a large number of proxies in Telegram was already observed in early April 2026. Later, the messenger released an update, and the community quickly eliminated the vulnerability, because of which the proxy stopped working.
