Intercepting Satellite Traffic for $200For many years, satellites in geostationary orbit (GEO) have been the primary means of providing high-speed communications to remote sites.
They are used for television and internet, including onboard WiFi, as well as for communication with GSM towers in remote areas.
However, a recent study showed that this traffic is often transmitted unencrypted and can be intercepted with inexpensive equipment:⏺satellite antenna ($185);
