geographic diversity is the unlock most people miss. everyone focuses on keywords and click volume. almost nobody thinks about WHERE the searches are coming from. but think about it a restaurant thats getting searched from 5 miles away looks very different to google than one thats only getting searched from across the street. distance = demand.directions from your website are a double rank boost. when someone hits "get directions" from your actual website, google counts that for your Maps ranking AND your organic SERP ranking. one user action, two ranking signals. this is probably the most underused local SEO tactic out there.
your GMB photos should BE your website images. upload service photos to GMB first. grab the google-hosted URL. use that as your website image source. why? google already indexed and trusts that image. your random CDN-hosted jpg doesnt get that treatment. now your website and your GMB are visually linked through the same google-indexed asset. nobody talks about this but it works.
match your reviews to your service pages. sounds obvious but look at 90% of local business websites they dump every review on every page. a teeth whitening review on your dental implants page does nothing. segment them. match them. google reads the page context around the review.
