Hundreds of repositories containing malicious code were found on GitHub.Kaspersky GReAT experts discovered numerous repositories on GitHub containing malware disguised as open-source projects.
For example, attackers disguise the malware as a Telegram bot for managing cryptocurrency wallets, tools for automating Instagram accounts, or cheats for the game Valorant.
