How the richest wallet is arranged, which no one can use.

The bitcoin blockchain recorded five transactions for a total of 107.13 BTC. All funds went to 111111111111111111111114oLvT2 - one of the most famous "incineration addresses". Such a wallet does not have a private key, so it is impossible to spend the coins sent there.

All five transactions were completed in just two minutes and came from different wallets. The largest was 36.79 BTC, or about $2.83 million. Another transaction is almost 29 BTCs, and the other two were about 20 BTC. The cause of the incident is still unknown. The WU Blockchain wrote that it was unclear whether transactions were a mistake, whether the coins were intentionally destroyed, or something else had happened.

The strangeness is also indicated by the history of the sender wallets. All five addresses are old – for the first time they received bitcoins on the same day, April 10, 2014. Such a coincidence may indicate a single owner. After that, all the wallets are completely empty. Most of the coins lay motionless for more than ten years. In 2014, one bitcoin cost about $442, and now the price has risen by about 176 times.

This address has been used before to burn coins. In total, it has already accumulated 807.24 BTC for the amount of about $ 62 million. For all the time, 256 296 transactions went through the address, but most of the former were tiny and only cost a share of the dollar.
