On September 27, the platform team reported that the problem had been detected and fixed, assuring that user funds were safe, including "wrapped" and underlying bitcoins.

The protocol has temporarily suspended interactions with the uniBTC contract. According to Bedrock representatives, DEX liquidity pools have been hit.

"The root cause [of the exploit] has been identified, and we are taking measures to eliminate it. A comprehensive reimbursement plan is at the completion stage and will be published soon along with the incident report", the statement said.

Bedrock cooperates with audit teams and white hat hackers to recover lost funds. The company also promised to provide proof of reserves once the investigation is complete.

"At this point, no additional action is required from our community. Rest assured that all uniBTC held by users is safe", the developers emphasized.
